I've just bought a C6 from America and imported in my country
(the netherlands). It's a really nice car!!
In my country it's necessary to have side blinkers that are flashing at the both sides of the car.
The front side light on my vette isn't flashing when I'm going to the left or right. It's just stays staying on or off.
Today I removed the front wheels and the inner wheel liner.
What do I need to adjust to let the side light going to flash?
(don't know why the BROWN cables is not connected.. maybe previous owner)
And my last question:
also this light is neccesary in my country:
How do I connect this light?? what wires do I need to?
And must I drill al hole in my fender?

congrats on your nice ride! in the U.S. the side marker lights are only made to turn on with the headlights. that's all they do. to make them blink, you'll have to wire them into the turn signal circuit. i'm not sure if the turn signal solenoid will take the load of the extra wattage added from the side marker lights, but give it a try. the extra light that you show on the side of your car doesn't appear on cars here in the U.S.. i'll assume it was put on for export into your country .... and yes i think you need to drill, unless there is already a hole there for the wrinig. you might look at the wiring on some other cars in your country to get an idea of how the side lamps are wired. you have to do something similar. if you only need them to blink when parked, then you'll need to wire them into the emergency blinker circuit. as for the "clipped" brown wire ... it may be for the Canadian version (when connected) where the side maker lights have to be on when the car is on, always. hope this helps ... good luck.
oh yeah ... Happy Dutch Koninginnedag!!
this just celebrated here today ... this windmill is about a 0.5km from where i grew up as a kid.
