I have used Eagle One chrome wheel cleaner on the chrome gumbies of my 2009 vert for the last 3 seasons with no ill effects; I also give the calipers a good spray with it. I always use lots of water to rinse the wheels/tires/calipers off and finish with a microfiber towel wipedown on the wheels. It has worked well for me.
Enjoy,

I started to use "Surf City Garage 102 Beyond Steel Wheel Cleaner", it's a spray on, wait a few minutes and spray off. The chrome wheels look great afterwards.
whatever car soap I'm using (always clear coat safe and mild), wheel brush... then every time I wax or polish the car, I apply rejex to the polished wheels... This makes the brake dust just rinse right off when I wash 'em..

I also use Rejex on my chrome wheels. Everything then just washes off the wheels with the same car wash soap and water that I use to wash the car. I put a coat or two on the wheels each driving season.
Has anyone tried the dryer sheets to dry their wheels; does this actually work? Pretty crazy. I will have chrome wheels for the first time when I get my car back so looking into all of this. So you wax the wheels with regular car wax?
