Painted tail lights QUESTION???

I did a little more wet sanding. they turned out smooth as glass. last few pics are in bright absolute sunlight. you can tell how bright the sun is in the lenses because my windows dont even look tinted. and they are dark. tails still slightly red. exactly how i wanted. first pic is the clear in a can i used. professional 2-part. hope this helps.
and who says VHT cant have professional results?? prepwork done right = good quality results. all pics taken with iphone.

re-tint
Does anybody know if there is anything that will bring the red back to my rear lens ? They've faded to a light orange, nothing wrong with them otherwise. guess i'm too cheap to just buy new ones ! Thought there might be something out there to re-tint them with. I had thought about a transparent red paint.
Anybody have any ideas.

If not, on pg 2 of this post I gave instructions on how to tint them dark. Instead of nite shade paint use Duplocolor translucent red, like candy apple red, and follow instructions. Take your time and one one will ever know.

I would try one of to kits to fix headlights first. I think that will fix it.
If not, on pg 2 of this post I gave instructions on how to tint them dark. Instead of nite shade paint use Duplocolor translucent red, like candy apple red, and follow instructions. Take your time and one one will ever know.
