Default Adjusting Airbag position

I just installed a 2012 Steering wheel, but the airbag doesn't seem to be centered in the steering wheel. there is probably 7-10 mm on the right side between the airbag and steering wheel controls. But there is only 1-2 mm on the other side. How do I fix this?

The first thing I'd try is releasing the airbag assembly and reinstall it trying to ensure that it is more centered. The airbag is held in place simply with two spring loaded pins in to holes on the steering wheel. It is possible that there is some tolerance available between the pin diameter and the spring latch on the steering wheel.

Yeah you need to release the pressure on the air bag

I ill take another look at it this weekend, It was harder to latch then I thought. the screws that hold the airbag retention plate to the steering wheel, are they adjustable?
