I was going to post this up today also. I'm more interested in the specs to avoid the dreaded tire wear. Anybody have them? I will probably have a local Vette shop in NY area do it for me to avoid any headaches.
Does anybody know of a good alingment souce in Nashua, NH area?
What about MacMulkin? I know there are a lot of dealership horror stories out here, but with the volume of vettes that Tommy sells, I'm guessing their service department might be a bit more capable working on them than most dealers.

I can't say for your area but around here in Cedar Rapids Iowa there are only a couple of GoodYear Shops we can take ours to for wheel alighnment or wheel changes.

This. They are in Nashua. I would bet they're excellent.
I just had my GS done at Town Fair Tire in Keene NH. They have a very nice computerized alignment machine that gives you the before & after specs. They were very careful driving up on the machine with two guys watching outside and placing riser blocks as needed. I have ZR1 side skirts and the front splitter and there was no problem. Their alignment tech is the only person that does the alignments too. I know they have locations in the Manchester Nashua area.
P.S. it did improve the steering a little bit.

Their Corvette service is Top notch. Never a worry about the care of my Z when I leave it.

I had this but lost my link to it .Search "Phadt Alignment specs" and use the performance street specs.
I don't understand "The Dreaded Tire Wear" thing...
I got just over 12,000 miles out of the stock Goodyear Supercars on my GS, and that includes four driver's school weekends at Mid-Ohio...I'm an instructor, so my car gets used...my tire wear has been very even across the tread and from front to back, and side to side...For a tire like the Goodyear runflat, I personally think 12,000 miles is a good result.
I suspect that most folks do not drive their cars the way they should be driven, or maybe I just lucked out and the GS came aligned in synch with the way I drive...who knows?

The big thing is to avoid toe-out, eats the inside of your tires like crazy.
A modest amount of negative camber helps the cornering with only a slight decrease in tire life.
PFADT has alignment specs for various uses, not sure if they are applicable to the GS or not.
If you can't find anything else, I'd go with the PFADT street numbers, understanding that they want a little toe-IN front and rear which they show as a minus number but most machines show toe-in as a + number.
Hey guys. So here is our alignment guide... this is going to be good for all C5/C6 applications, from C5 Base cars to the C6 ZR1. Really the biggest factor in choosing the correct alignment spec is what your goals for the car are and what modifications have already been performed.
For casual street use we recommend out Performance Street setting, but if you spend more time at the track or have other suspension modifications one of the other 5 recommendations could be for you. That being said, most folks who are stock or close to it go with the Performance Street.
Below are the alignment specifications. Click the link below and scroll to Corvette Alignment Guide for a full size printable version that you can hand to your alignment tech. Your alignment is going to only be as good as the tech performing the work, so make sure they are familiar with the Corvette or performance vehicles before having them perform the work.
Thanks guys for the help, I actually live in Groton Ma and it dawned on me that a shop about 300 YRS from my office has new very good alingment equipment, he is a good wrenh and will do it Monday.
