awesome!!!! i dont know how hard it would be, but the color wire diagram and the actual color of wire you used are different. i think i understand, any way you could redo the diagram, would help others.
The reason I wanted a tilt sensor was mainly to try to prevent wheel theft, though I have also ordered a set of Gorilla locks. I just never understood why GM didn't put a tilt and/or shock sensor on the car at the factory. In my opinion, it really should have one as standard equipment. All the export Corvettes get them, but they don't put them on the US model cars. Makes no sense to me.

Valid reason, especially if the car's parked outside/alone for any length of time.

Had assumed these kinds of sesors were incorporated into the security system on Corvettes for years. Now to learn they aren't. Alot less cars come with these as SOP. Chevrolet really dropped the ball.
One other quick little note I'd like to add. When you're hooking this all up and testing it, I'd highly recommend connecting the battery to a charger. I ran mine down nearly flat trying to test it out. It was a four year old battery, so it's not a big deal, but flashing the lights and horn draws more current than you realize.
So when the sensor trips the alarm, how long does the alarm go for and how do you turn it off?
I haven't actually timed it, but I think it's about 90 seconds, and then it automatically resets. You can turn it off by pushing the UNLOCK button on your remote.
I'd rather see forum members save the money and do it themselves. Its a very easy mod, and the is no reason to spend a lot of money on it.
My next project will be to see if I can install this $6 dual zone shock sensor.
Here is the sensor with relay wired up ready for install
Here is the connection to the wiper/ACC fuse
And here is the sensor located in the car
In the diagram picure there is a red wire going to the wiper/ACC fuse and in the actual picture of the relay the wire is yellow. The next photo shows the connection to the wiper/ACC fuse and the wire is red and in the final picture I see the yellow wire again coming from the relay. What is the yellow wire connected to? I'm guessing you spliced a red wire to extend the yellow wire since the 2nd picture only shows 1 red wire?
