Default Check Engine light....

.....came on this morning driving to work. Made an appointment at dealer for Tuesday. Car runs fine,8900 miles on her. Probably emission related. I'll keep you posted.

Engine isn't missing?
Did you open the hood and check to see if the engine was there?

Any tune or changes done to airflow will also make it go off

Agree with z51vette.... betcha it is the gas cap and in fact if your C6 is a 2005-2008 (I think I have the date span correct) GM was replacing faulty gas caps and those caps caused the check engine light to come on...

Run it down to Advance Auto or any other auto parts store and they will read it and can clear it for free. If it's nothing important you can clear it out and see if it comes back. Rather get it checked for free than whatever nonsense the dealer can come up with. Plus you know well in advance if there's going to be a problem.
