Reminds me of the bumper-protectors back in the '80's...
My dad bought a Chevy Caprice ... the big 4-door kind. Kind of a brown-metallic with a tan colored vinyl padded roof (remember those?) Anyway, he had installed these hideous-looking vertical mini-bumpers on either side of the license plate I suppose to protect the front bumper or to be able to push stranded cars or something. As I recall, they never were used nor were they ever necessary.

Did you notice I said "pretty much", not completely?
Yea, you pretty much are wrong as only their "entry" level one does not have the vertical doors, so really, they are pretty much not getting away from vertical doors, which the examples CLEARLY show.

I had them on mine when I had just the widebooty. Parts for your car liked the picture so much they use this pic as their header on their C6 website page.
I think it looked ok, I decided to leave them off when I did the rest of the conversion.
