Default NPP help

I have an 07 A6 and am considering adding dual note exhaust but have a question I need help with first. If I add the mufflers will a "mild to wild" switch controll them? As you know this year did not have the system.

What you need to do is buy the NPP in the box kit. It comes with a controller if I recall correctly.

The NPP in a box should have the mufflers which have flaps and the other peripherals required to control said flaps. Then, all you need to do is get the m2w or just pull the fuse if you want them open (loud) mode all the time.

If i need to buy anything else to make the system controll the valves since this was not built into the original system.

Default I understand

but I have no fuse to pull, that is my concern. My car came with out any of the vacum lines or electronic controlls for these mufflers. I am thinking the kit comes with the vacum lines and the electronic controlls to make them work.

Default ah...

I put NPP on my 06. It is easy... You just need to put on the NPP Cat Back Exhaust, and the NPP in a box, it has the vacuum lines and controllers. You will love it.

Just remember you need a takeoff NPP from a 2008.. Later than that won't fit over the exile without some modifications...

Most NPP in a box controllers work either open or closed. I use the system from http://www.sunsetorangecreations.com/ a vender here .
His system will work like the factory NPP with the valves opening at a set RPM or can be set open all the time or closed all the time

Multiple ways to get NPP. I have an 07 A6 coupe with modded Z06 NPP mufflers with the M2W remotes. Wakes my neighbor up every morning
