Default Finally got one!

Well, after about 2 months of searching around, a few test drives, and annoying salesmen, I finally pulled the trigger. Last week I traded in my G8 and got a 2005 Corvette with 2,100 miles. I had to drive a little over an hour to PA to get it, but it was worth it. The guy bought the car in '05, paid about $55K for it, and just recently traded it in for a brand new grand sport. I picked it up for $32K. There is not a mark or scratch on it, and the interior looks and smells brand new.

When I was doing the paperwork, they also brought this huge bag of stuff the guy had when he got the car, including window stickers, paperwork about the car, corvette brochures, CDs, DVDs, manuals, and this huge 2005 Chevrolet Product Portfolio binder. Some really cool collectable stuff.

I've always wanted a vette and finally have one! Looking to do some things to it, but so far I've only upgraded the NAV to play MP3s. I have a few night shots and pics at the dealer, but that's about it for now because it's been raining every single day since I got it! At least I know the roof doesn't leak!

How someone could only put 300 miles A YEAR on a car is beyond me....glad he lost $23,000 in the deal, he deserves that.

apparently he was a car collector. the guys at the dealership knew him, and said he had something like 10-15 cars in his garage. So he basically just drove this home and around the block a few times.

With miles that low, it's like a time capsule or barn find. I'd be tempted to replace the old tires, even though they have plenty of tread. Congrats!!

Great color! To keep it clean, you'll need a California Duster, a good detail spray, and microfiber towels. Black is a bitch sometimes.

Great find and I would also change out all fluids.

Enjoy your new ride and please put more than 300 miles a year on it.
