Default Trunk release

I recently purchased a 2006 Corvette convertible and some times, well most of the time when trying to open the trunk wirh either buttons the trunk doesn't release all the way up . Having to close the trunk and repeat this a few times before it works....HELP THANKS

I saw in some thread that someone is selling a add on spring that will help the hatch open normally. I'm not a lot of help, since I don't know the vender or thread :o You can find it with a search I bet.

Don't re close it. Press the button or the trunk release again while lifting the deck lid. Mine has done that almost since I got it. It is a pain if you have your hands full.
