Tire Size
Has anyone played with changing the rear tire size on a base C6? Either to play with gearing or visual appeal. I like the look of a tire that "fills up" the wheel well and gives a nice stance to the car, but don't want to mess up performance. Anyone that can help me out with a little real world experience would be appreciated.

If wider is what your looking for then that certainly can be accomplished.You would have to get wider wheels though which is obvious. Are you looking to just put bigger tires on your stock wheels ? my rears are 20x11 wheel with 325/25/20 size tires with a 79mm offset. really fills the wheel well.

would like to stick with the 19x10 wheel on the back. With clever tire sizing you can add a deceptively larger look. I like the "that car seems stock, but there is something different about it" look.

the rebel in me likes the illegal aspect that I had not even considered. I guess I must be lucky because in my area you would never hear anything about the width of your tires. It's not uncommon at all to see lifted diesel trucks with huge tires sticking out 6 inches on each side of the truck blowing black smoke all over town and the po-po never pay them any attention
