Although the question was extremely stupid and obviously not well thought out. Seriously what kind of question is that? You should not drive a sports car in city traffic.

Dude, you really should seek help about your macho delusions.
It requires no testosterone to drive a manual, except perhaps in your case. Tell us, do you have to go to the gym to work out enough to operate the clutch and shifter? Lol.
Really, do yourself, us, and the wider world a favor and get over yourself. No one is impressed with the manliness it takes to operate a modern manual. Really.
If you need to believe that owning a manual makes you more of a man, you are just weird, dude. Latest homo, perhaps, in denial? Not that there is anything wrong with that.

while I believe that everyone should be able to drive a manual just to be a functional person (who knows when an emergency situation may leave you with one option for a vehicle?), there is a huge difference between patty cake driving around town and coming down from 150 into a corner. clicking a paddle is much safer in these situations than risking a screw up from a missed shift. Also left foot braking while using a clutch pedal is damn near impossible. Last thing to note - youre not always going to have smooth transitions from one corner to the next where you can plan your shifts (especially when you consider other vehicles in the way) - being able to quickly change up and down in gears without having to move your feet around or get you hands off the wheel is a huge advantage.
There are positives and negatives to both gearbox selections

I am betting that during her working days, Jacqueline was the person who stood on the tail end of the garbage truck and got down at each stop to empty the trash cans into the truck--- just like her Daddy taught her--- and they never let her drive the truck. She has never gotten over that.
