Windrestrictor install question

Windrestrictor install question

I just put a Windrestrictor in my 2011 GS. When I pulled back the carpet on the passenger side to look at the wiring harness I did not find a dark brown wire as the video said. This wire is supposed to be for the headlights and would light up the Windrestrictor. There is a tan wire. Does anyone know if the tan wire replaced the brown wire. I don't want to tap a wire without knowing.

Try testing it with a test light.

Don't hook it up to the light wire. It's to bright to ride around at night with it lit up all the time. just hook up to the brake lights, blue wire. you will see.
