Code reading and clearing
On my C5 you can make it show all of the codes in the info display. Then you are given the option of clearing some or all of them.
I mentioned this on another board, and was told that only the C5 can do that and that GM discontinued that feature with the C6.
Is that a fact?

I carry a code reader in my car. Never had to use it though

I have a Innova scan tool don't have the exact model # right now it's in the garage, but you can go to there site they have different models and price ranges depeding on how sophisticated you need.

Not exactly. The C4 could also display codes by shorting pins in the scanner connector with a paper clip. But, yes, the C6 requires a scanner.
