Yesterday I had a hankering for some BBQ ribs cooked by a friend on a smoker at his campsight near Lake Carlyle. On the way out U.S. 50 I found myself queued up behind three other vehicles following a pickup limping along at about 50 in a 55 zone. For three miles nobody wanted to pass that guy, so when we turned onto a long straight with nobody coming, I let Red loose. The sound and feel of that classic pushrod V8 winding up was just wonderful. Red was in full song as I shot past that pickup at 90 and eased back into the right lane. Looking back on it, I'm pretty sure the A6 downshifted to 3rd when I pulled out and stayed there until I lifted. What a machine. Oh, and the ribs were great too.
I know how you feel man, I've done that a time or two. With my b&b bullets singing at 6k rpm, I'm pretty sure I make a LOT of people mad while doing it, too.
You might be safe from the admins if you get rid of the mph details of your pass...
Oh and sorry, but I can't resist... wrt your subject line, TWSS.

Cool story though... Reminds me of what I started to do yesterday on a 4-lane highway before I glanced in the rear-view mirror and saw a white car with green letters that spelled "Sheriff."
He lives in Illinois like me, the legislature spends all day figuring out new ways to screw us over.
With GPS and the speed limit posted on your $100 Garmin, it's not too far fetched to imagine a day when your car wont exceed the speed limit because it's controlled by the computer.

Not to worry ... If that ever happens, the "tuners" will find a way to disable that silly program.
Great feeling for sure, and brings a smile to your face each time. Yesterday I was out for a cruise with the Wife and said let me turn off the TC and jump on it and see what it does.
Well all I can say is wow, what a rush! Quite a difference with the TC off, gotta love that back end sliding a bit, tires smoking, making that familar squealing sound, and people looking like WTF.................
Love it, only thing and you are probably already there is in the same situation you got to worry about one of the three cars in front of you pulling out to pass as well. If you think it is a good time to pass maybe they do too. Maybe they see you but maybe between their cell phone and running their heads to passengers in their car they don't. Could get ugly at those speeds. Glad you made it safely.
