Headlight Help
I just bought a headlight lense on ebay overnight shipping for my ZO6 and I need a set of instructions on how to remove the old broken pieces and install the new one properly. Thank you. And if it helps, i hit a raccoon, flew up and shattered my driver side headlight lense and i cannot drive the vette and its my DD! I tried to pry the bits off but its impossible! I don't even know how to remove the headlight off the car. Called insurance and my rates will sky rocket if I do a claim even with my deductible. My bumper was gone to hell but my neighbor is giving me his black front ZO6 bumper (which is scratched and rock chipped to hell) for 150 bucks. Instructions on how to install bumper and change light lense would be awesome.

Why is insurance going up? Who are you insured with? This should be covered under comprehensive, not collision, (the raccoon is not a 'fixed object'). What kind of sucky insurance is going to kick up the rates because you hit an animal in the road.
I'm no help on how to DIY, but I think it's pretty messy getting the bumper off.

Too many things going on in my head. Insurance is Geico and I'm 21. Will switch to State Farm. Hate Geico. Don't want to go into too many details. As you can tell, its 2 AM in Chicago and I can't get it off my mind. Any Help with headlight lense is appreciated. Bumper just came off after looking at a youtube video.

not sure if it's up there but above C6 Gen, there's a FAQ section. see if it has a DIY on lens removal.
if not, look up RLSebring and limit to C6 Gen or C6 Tech. see if he's done a write up with pictorials.
if not, email RL. he's a vendor but may help you out even tho this is his bread and butter. or Mike Yeager at EastCoast Performance, also a vendor, doing same thing, headlight repair.
