Looks like you hit the same type/quantity of bugs we did when out west. Do you know what they were? The ones we hit were pretty big suckers, you could see them coming as I was driving 80-100mph across HWY 200 in Montana.
Looks like the 2nd coming of Christ.......sheesh that is a lot of bugs.

I think they were mostly grasshoppers. When we got home, I used the wand at a self service car wash and a tidal wave of dead grasshoppers came rolling out from under the bumper.
A few days later I took it in for an oil change and asked the Corvette tech to blow the bugs out of the radiator. He came back to me later and asked if the engine had been overheating (it hadn't), because he got about a coffee can of dead bugs from the radiator. Yuck.
