Default Pic's of my Black and Colbalt Red Convertible, w/Mods and DIY instructions

Here are a few shots of my Black/Red/Black 6 Sp C6 Convertible. I purchased it one year ago and have driven it in AL, DE, GA, FL, MD, MS, NC, NJ, PA, SC, TN, and VA.

It is a 1SB car (HUD, etc) and has NAV, Magnetic Select Ride Control (MSRC), Power Top.

I have done a few mods and posted DIY instructions and pics. My Mods include;

-Hid Fog lights (DIY is at http://forums.corvetteforum.com/c6-c...nd-how-to.html

-Vararam CAI (DIY is at http://forums.corvetteforum.com/c6-t...raram-cai.html

-DIY Cove and Grill Screens (DIY at http://forums.corvetteforum.com/c6-c...w-to-pics.html

-DIY Aluminum Brake Shims (DIY is at http://forums.corvetteforum.com/c6-c...w-to-pics.html

-DIY Painted Calipers (DIY is at http://forums.corvetteforum.com/c6-c...pers-pics.html

-Flow Master Exhaust

-LED interior and exterior lights

-Black and Red Shift Ball

-Lloyds Carpets

-iPod hook up

Hope you like (if not ok too) and the mods and links give you some ideas for your own special C6

Beautiful C6, I love the red interior. I purchase a 05, Precision Red, 1SB package out of Atlanta 6 months ago and I am glad to see such well kept 05 as yours. I am currently working in Korea and I have two week left before I return home. I have been ordering things like the IPOD adapter, side vents, nose mask (for my move to Tinker Air force Base), color door handles, speaker up-grade, head liner for my glass top, Window valet (great feature) and FOB #2. I see you are running Flow Master and that was next on my list. The only reason I haven’t ordered it because most of the forum members are saying they produce a terrible drone. I hope you can be the myth buster for on that. As for the drone, I am an old Georgia boy, loud exhaust sound is in the blood, and secondly I lost most of my hearing in the army anyway. I saw a set up on EBay for $500 with the quad tips. So with in a couple of days I got to make a decision to order so it will be waiting when I get back. If you say the drone isn’t that bad, I’ll pull the plug on it.

Nice car! Your car has every option available at that time. What is on the front of the car that looks like chrome from the front view?

Great pics ,nicely cared for car. I have a mod suggestion, ever thing of changing out the silver console trim to 09 or better black carbon-fiber pattern? I really like the blk/red.

Nice mods

I like my road trips also and did the elbow rests on doors and console. I find it makes a big difference in comfort level.
