Thnaks for the replies. I think drone is very subjective. My CORSA sports had what some might consider drone in the 1500-1800 rpm range with an A6. Wondering whether the Extreme is the same or considerably different.

I have an 05 A4 with headers, hi-flo cat and Corsa Sport. Had the CS before the headers. With the headers the CS is much louder on startup, pull away and accelleration. For cruising it is much softer than before, virtually quiet, which I find interesting. No drone ever. Not sure whether the pattern will be similar for the Corsa Extreme, but thought I'd mention.
