Default I got it bad!!

My first Vette. 2012 GS and I am about as **** as they come. Though I've had it for less than 2 months now I'm completely out of control here. Seems I'm always detailing it, not a speck of dust makes it to the paint and I'm quick detailing it. I wash it once a week whether it needs it or not, I avoid highways taking secondary roads to the families crawling in the right hand lanes, avoiding construction areas creating dust clouds. Every evening before it's garaged I quick detail any bugs or road tars etc off it. Got 3000 miles on it already.
Anyone else suffer from this affliction? Are there support groups for those of us with this problem?.......lol

I do, except for washing it once a week. It gets driven once a week only on a good morning day (no bugs).

I feel your pain. I've had mine for half the time and have put over 2500 miles on it. I suspect my neighbors are starting to crack jokes about how often I wash my car. But I refuse to be like the guy up the street who leaves his GS Vert outside all winter and seldom washes it.

When you wash and detail it after you've gotten it good and dirty from a day of spirited Corvette driving it feels even better!!! But don 't take my word for it...

2 months and 3,000 miles. That is the important part. It means you are out driving it which is why you got it. Good for you.

No flames, just a thought. Owning and appreciating how good a C6 looks is just part of the fun. Experiencing its performance capabilities is the other part of the fun. Getting it dirty by the latter and then washing/detailing it for the former gives you the full experience!

Sorry, do not follow the "Wolfdog" mentality. If it is dirty I will wash it, if it isn't, I will drive it or look at it.

If the car doesn't get wet, you can wipe it down with a wax/detailer combo and go many weeks without washing it.

I expected all the responses, I'm ok with it, I have a company truck, work way too many hours like a lot of you. Busy on the weekends & such but honestly really enjoy having the car, when I do drive it I really enjoy it, as many on here say, it's mine & I can treat it or drive it as I choose. I've had 3 C6's & average about 2-3K per year.
