I love it for my DD, 09 Tahoe, I put it in the gas and do a top end clean to it all the time, great stuff. I've put it in the gas of my Vette but never did anything else.

I've used it for years in my outboards on my boats. On my old 2 strokes it kept them running great. Now that I have fuel injected 4 strokes I don't worry as much and only treat the fuel if I am going to be out of the water for any amount of time and at the end of the fishing season. It also works great in lawn equipment like trimmers and blowers!

If your car sits up for extended periods or you don't drive it on a regular basis then Sea Foam is an excellent fuel stabilizer. For the daily driver it doesn't hurt to do a treatment on schedule with your regular oil changes and service.

I've used it exclusively for decades.
Bikes, boats, mowers, cars, trucks, weed wackers, everything.

Scientists have shown that Sta-bil does not mix well with todays corn based fuel. It will gel.
Seafoam does a better job.

As others have said, I use it in everything that has an engine. Really good for anything with a carb. Small amount in each tank full. Several mechanics I know have cleaned up EGR valves and carb needles using S.F.

So, this FAQ piece by Sta-Bil is wrong?
from here: http://www.goldeagle.com/brands/stabil/faq.aspx#5

"Q: What is the difference between STA-BIl Fuel Stabilizer, Marine Formula STA-BIL, and the new STA-BIL Ethanol Treatment products?

A: STA-BIL® Fuel Stabilizer is designed for use during STORAGE of any gasoline equipment or vehicle stored for 30 days or more, or used infrequently. It will keep gas fresh for 12 months, and help prevent corrosion, and gum and varnish formation. It is effective in all gasolines, including Ethanol blends, including E-85.
Marine Formula STA-BIL® Ethanol Treatment was designed for use at every fill up for marine engines (boats, jetskis) to protect against the damaging effects experienced when using Ethanol blended fuels -- including corrosion caused by water attraction, and fuel system plugging caused by deposit loosening.
New STA-BIL Ethanol Treatment is designed for use at every fill up for all gasoline automotive and small engines for protection against these same problems."

"Q: Is STA-BIL® Fuel Stabilizer safe for fuel injectors and catalytic converters?

A: STA-BIL® brand is safe to use in both fuel injected and carbureted engines, and will not damage catalytic converters or oxygen sensors. STA-BIL® Fuel Stabilizer prevents the formation of gums and varnish that can clog fuel injectors, and actually contains a fuel injector cleaner to further improve your engine’s performance."
