My 09 Z06(rear mounted battery) takes a 90 series battery. I think that the later models with the battery under the hood take a 85 series battery. GM has changed the battery sizes several times during the C6's run.
The AutoZone Gold Duralast batteries have proven to be very dependable and carry a 3 year free replacement and a 8 year pro-rated warranty. The 85-DLG costs $110.
