Were those shot with a digital camera? If so, I was told that you can't do double exposures with a digital camera.

Yes, Canon eos T1i. Not double exposure. I'm no photographer so I dont know tech terms but I left the shutter open for 5 seconds with door open and 3 seconds door closed. Same with hood and hatch. Some photoshop was also involved. I was board.
BTW, only Star Trek fans will understand the "Cloaking Device" term.
