Owner Manual Error- "Accessory"
The last paragraph on page 2-23 of our 2009 Owner Manual says Accessory Power will time out after "about 10 minutes."
Today, I tested it twice and it times out at exactly 20 minutes on our car. 2009 3LT A6 Nav.
The 2009 Service Manual has it right, 20 minutes.
The Owner Manual is correct about Retained Accesory Power- that one does time out after 10 minutes (or a door is opened).

At least it times out and the manual says it times out. There are a lot of people here who don't know that. There are a lot of people who think accidentally hitting the map light button with your knee will kill the battery.
