I am considering selling my 09 coupe with NPP installed and purchasing an 08. From what I have been reading, to use the NPP from my 09, I need to replace the crossover (x) pipe. Is this all that is necessary to use the NPP from my 09 on an on 08? Second question if so, where can I purchase the xpipe????

I thought it had to do with a bend in the pipes. Check out how aftermarket, Corsa, Borla etc are sold. I know '05-'08 use a different exhaust than '09 & up. '08 is the only LS3 to use the earlier type bend.
The '05-'07 use a H-pipe configuration, the '08 and up use a X-pipe. I would check with a Chevy dealer or after market supplier.

Yes...you are correct. Take the NPPs off of your '09 and track down a 2009+ mid-pipe. That setup should bolt right on to the 2008.
Keep an eye on eBay and the classified section here. There's not much demand for the stock mid-pipe...so you should be able to pick one up cheap (less than $100).
