This may have taken some thought. We're talking a variety of implements here. I'm thinking something sharp on the canvas top and then you got yer obligatory black spray paint. Prolly Rustoleum but could be latex.

I think it is someone playing around. It is already sitting in the salvage yard. Maybe a wreck and the guys wanted to have a little fun.
