Default Question on Nav system

Bought a 2012 Coupe and have 3 questions on the Nav that I have not found an answer to yet.

First, if on the interstate without a destination is there a way to have the next 3 exits appear on the screen?

Second, if on the interstate with a destination entered is there a way to show the next 3 exits with some information as to road names and not simply exit 92, 2 miles, exit 95 5 miles and exit 99 9miles?

Also is there a way that rest areas can be shown on the screen?

Coming from an 04 I am very impressed as to how quiet the C6 is.

Thank you.

Congrats for the new Vette.

Jim gave you the perfect link. Talon90 has supplied forum members with a outstanding explanation of how the Navigation system operates.

And yes, coming from a C4 the C6 is as quite as a mouse. No knock on the C4. What the Corvette team was able to do during that period of quality issues and work ethic within GM was nothing short of phenomenal. The C4 is still a looker.

Actually I did read that as well as the manual that came with it. No mention of what I wanted to know so guessing that GM went with a very poor system. Not meant to beat the dead horse again but was hoping that I had simply missed something. Thanks.

I suggest reading it again. Once you read and comprehend Talon90's tutorial you will realize & learn the Nav unit is quite capable.

Please understand the unit is old and not intuitive. But again you will find the unit to be capable and will perform very well.

I myself haven't found it to be able to do the requested items you're looking for, but I do have fun playing with it to see all the little bells and whistles.
