Default Question regarding outside temp gauge

Question for those in the know: Is there a way to reset outside temp gauge (the one located on the console between the temp control *****).

It has been 93 in the area for the last two days, yet my gauge constantly reads 77 degrees F.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

Try pressing the following 3 buttons under the A/C display simultaneously while the engine is running.

Right-most, 2nd to right-most, 4th right-most. (Rear defrost, front defrost, fan speed)

Otherwise, it's going to take some time driving to update, according to the owner's guide.

If the outside temperature goes up, the displayed
temperature will not change until:
• The vehicle’s speed is above 12 mph (19 km/h) for
five minutes.
• The vehicle’s speed is above 32 mph (52 km/h) for
two and a half minutes.

Thanks Jim:
I did it this morning and after the display flashed dim then bright again it all seems to be working again.
Appreciate the prompt response.
Stay well.

I park my car at work every day. When I get off the outside temp is usually 20 degrees or more than in the morning. But the temp guage in the car already shows the higher temp instantly.
So, park at 75 degrees, restart the car later, dash gauge shows 95 degrees without driving two feet.

Both my 2005 and now my 2012 work the same way.
