My experience is that the flags are absolutely trouble free, and I've never seen any showing and signs of problems. It seems to me that the more informed the dealer is the more likely that they will order the flags. Also remember that the flags are included with the two-tone seats so not separately ordered with them and a different flag is included on 4LT so way more than 10% of production has the flags.

Thanks for the input guys.
That may be true but there are flags included on other interiors that do not come under the OB1 option count. That is what I was saying.
Also if you look at Kerbeck's inbound inventory you will see a far higher than 10% number 2LT and 3LT cars ordered with OB1. Obviously, not all dealers are as on top of it in their ordering. Plus all two-tones and all 4LT have flags and/or headrest embroidery.
I just don't like the feel of them behind my head. I rest my head back a lot (my neck hurts most of the time, condition) and I sat in a Vette that had them ... just bothered me having them there. I like the smooth feel of the seats without them on the headrests.
That is just my reason, but it's not too crazy, so I'd imagine it could be another factor for some people.
I'm curious why this option has such a low percentage of option @ less than -10% of the 2012 models?
Is it because of an unraveling problem of the embroidery....
Or the fear of a possible unraveling that most folks don't go with this option?
In my opinion, because of the size / scale of the seats / headrest, the Flags help to break up all of that seat color.
Please chime in with your opinion or experience with these Flags.
Thanks!
No crossed flags on mine, but I do have the Grand Sport Heritage Package which includes the Grand Sport logo embroidery on the headrests. No issues, and it does break up the two tone a bit, I get a lot of positive comments on it.
