Cow Booster....??
If you search, you will find LOTS of similar opinions about the booster and Chuck's tunes.
When he first boosted mine I drove it solo and it was better but not what I wanted. So when we did our drivability he made it aggressive for me. I said better but more, so he not only went as aggressive as he goes he ramped the A6 tune a tad more aggressive for me.
Here is what I like with the booster and tune the most, booster for take offs from a stop at the red lights and slightly giving a throttle press it is instant response, like my old carb days. It makes initial acceleration response how I wanted. It took my wifey one time to approve of the change and she is into looking good in her Vett not racing.
The booster and tune go hand in hand especially for a stocker like ours, this winter I will see how it is with boost. How does the booster and tune work together on the street, I covered the take offs, when cruising around around 30ish and you hammer away I used to have two lags engine and A6 now neither. Depending on how hard I hit the go pedal the tranny will shift down 1 or 2 gears and while this happens the booster has got you throttle open now no delay.
I have a stock LS3 with the only mods are ZR1 exhaust and Airaid CAI, the cool thing now is the tire spin from my 325s that I could not do before on hard downshifts. Oh I have already learned how much throttle to do on downshifting to keep the tires from spinning, faster Vett this way.
Track the booster is not a factor and here is why, the throttle is already open and when the light turns green the pedal is to the metal. I load until the A6 wants to over come the brake.
Very glad this 99% non tracked Vett was boosted

The Best of Corvette for Corvette Enthusiasts

CoW 'Booster'
As you can see by the graph below, a mechanical throttle control using a cable system gives a linear throttle response .. When the throttle pedal is pressed 1/4 th of the way to the floor, the actual throttle blade in the throttle body will be open 25%. Press the throttle pedal down 3/4th of it’s available travel, and the throttle blade will be open 75%.
However, do to the programming of the “Fly by Wire” throttle system in the LS3, LS7 and LS9 Corvette engines, the throttle is not at all linear. Especially just off idle and in the first 65% of it’s range.
In fact, looking at the chart below, you can see that when the throttle pedal is pushed down 30% of it’s total travel, the actual throttle blade will only be open 10%. At 50% pedal travel, the throttle blade is open 35% of it’s total range. This is what gives poor throttle response during normal driving.
The CoW Booster does an amazing job of restoring the throttle response in the area of the lower throttle angles by operating the throttle system in a linear fashion as would a mechanical cable operated throttle.

NOTE: With the stock programming, operating in any of the optional driving modes such as “Competition Mode” will not have any effect in altering the actual throttle blade opening rate with respect to the throttle pedal position, so that is not an option that will better the situation. The “Booster” is still needed to provide a near linear throttle pedal to throttle plate relationship.
.
My C6 A6 is stock other than a K&N intake, Bassani catback and tune.
The tune improves the A6 shifting and the booster removes the throttle delay. Prior to the tune and booster, I always drove in S mode but after the tune and booster, I drive mostly in D mode as the shifting and feel of the car is vastly improved.
My C6 is my DD and the booster did take a little going used to but the changes are well worth it.
I realize some will ask about HP gains, but for me that was not what I was after. I become frustrated with how the car drove (A6 shifts and throttle lag). I wanted a car which drove "better" for me and that has been accomplished. Yes - "better" is subjective, that is why Chuck will change things up specifically for you.

YES, CoW BOOSTER is AWESOME! Wether you set it MILD or WILD or anywhere in the middle.
We can also set it up so that you can change between 2 different CoW BOOSTER profiles using the TC ON/OFF button
without changing the way the TC works.
REMEMBER: Your LSx engine makes SOOO MUCH POWER DOWN LOW AND OFF IDLE
that GM had to "take away" throttle opening (which clips power significantly) down low just to make the
drivable for EVERYONE.
While I CAN give you back ALL OF THE POWER, my experience shows that it's undriveable and not the slightest bit fun.
I've spent years working on a few different maps and polishing the curve to make it as powerful as possible
without over doing it.
The maps I deliver on the first flash are usually comfortable for most people and yet a MASSIVE IMPROVMENT
in low and mid range TORQUE and HORSEPOWER.
CoW BOOSTER!

I have a '07 manual vert...with just an exhast upgrade and air intake. Most of my other mods are cosmetic. What would be the benefits to me doing this? Also...I am very interested but live in London, Ontario....and likely won't be near one of your tune locations any time soon. I think you can do this remotely...what is involved from a time standpoint or mechanical skills?
Thanks

For Canadian customers, I'll usually take your order and ship you one of my pcms with the booster installed.
After you drive it a few days and you're happy with it, you send me your pcm as a core and you keep mine.
It's very easy to do like that.
