Voice Command?
How many of you use the system and to what degree of success? I even used the phrases prescribed in the manual without much luck.

Sample conversation:
Me- Zoom out
Nav- Now showing Golf Course icons
Me- Zoom out
Nav- Now showing fast food restaurants
Me- POI Off
Nav- POI On
Me- POI Off
Nav- Zooming In
Me- Kiss my @ss
Nav- Command not recognized
Occasionally it will work correctly when sitting still so there is less background noise. But usually, just junk.
Some people say I'm not pronouncing clearly, but I spent 40 years in a job where clear speech was important (pilot), and even today people tell me I should be a radio announcer because my speech is so easy to understand. I've tried speaking faster, or slower, or not being so precise, and about a dozen other techniques. I even installed the new style microphone on the A-pillar, nothing helped.
Just pretend the voice commands don't exist, and enjoy the other features of the car.
In my 2011 Vert:
Me: Call Home
Car: Would you like to call Harry?
Me: No...!
Car: Calling Harry using OnStar. You have no OnStar minutes, connecting to Onstar.
Me: Cancel...! Cancel...!
OnStar Operator: This is OnStar, how can I help you?
Me: I don't want to talk to you, stupid BlueTooth connected with you.
OnStar: I'm sorry, anything else I can do for you?
Me: Yeah, hang up.
OnStar: Have a good day sir..
Me:

Start over:
Me: Call home...
Car: Would you like to call home?
Me: Yes...!
Car: Calling home using "I-Phone."
What a pain in the a**! I found it is easier to push my preset numbers on my phone than to use Voice Command.

+1 on the voice commands on the NAV/radio suck and havent improved since 2005. But I will say the bluetooth in the '12 voice command works pretty well as long as I dont try to use the 'voice' command. Every time I use it with an iPhone 'call home' = 'play who songs.' But if I store the numbers in the car it works fine so I'll blame the iphone for that.
