Just had my 2012 GS in for an alignment, as I always do with a new car, just to check the factory settings.
Enough out of adjustment to do it I guess. I had them set to the Pfadt Street settings. Even if it gives me a couple more K miles on the tires it is worth it.
Before
Front:
_______L_______R
Camber -1.1 -.9
Caster 7.9 7.1
Toe .25 .08
Total Toe .33
Steer Ahead .09 (not sure what this is... The after is -.01)
Rear:
Camber -.08 -1.0
Toe -.06 -.09
Total Toe -.15
Thrust Angle .02
I took it to my local Goodyear dealer, since I heard (but am not sure) that the dealer will not set to special specs, like the Pfadt specs. I am friends with the guy that owns the Goodyear shop so I know they will do a good job. I might have saved the 80 bucks at the dealer but I'm not sure I trust them any more than the factory... (Another thread said that the factory specs call for front camber to be -.45 +/- .6)
