If you have been contemplating this mod, stop contemplating and just get one!. I installed mine today and had a chance to get out and play quite a bit before the storms rolled in. Nice crisp positve shifts, the way it should be from the factory. Decided to install mine with the OE ****. Great product....way to go George

do you have any experience with a hurst shifter to compare or just the stock?
Wow what a difference. A quality piece and perfect fit. I went out this morning and was stunned at the difference it made. After all my other mods, I can't imagine why I waited as long.
To the original poster ...are you glad you went with the OE shift ****. I just bought the centennial edition shift **** and boot and since I have to take off the console anyway....i thought I would install the MGW shifter as I've been hearing so so many good things about it.
Are you pleased with the daily driving capability of the new shifter...and did you go 25 percent or the 35 percent?
Did you buy the dyna matt that I saw on the web site page for an additional 5 dollars ? and if so...how many did you buy? and where did you install the dyna matt?
Do you wish you bought the MGW shift ****? Do you wish you chose one of the throws over the other..(25% vs 35 %)
Thanks again..
Your red C6 in the photo looks beautiful and I appreciate you taking the time to post up your impression of the MGW.

I'm getting ready to order as I type this! LOL

Completely happy with the driveability. Much shorter throw and positive engagement. I am really liking this upgrade. Not sure what you are referring to regarding 25% or 35%. I installed the shaft as low as it would go.
Did you buy the dyna matt that I saw on the web site page for an additional 5 dollars ? and if so...how many did you buy? and where did you install the dyna matt? When I got the call that the shifter was available, I was so excited I forgot to include the Dynamat with my order. Luckily I found some at Best Buy and was able to keep things moving with my install plans. I bought 2 packs of 2 sheets of what I think were 10"x 10". This allowed me to do the whole trans tunnel back to the rise behind the seats. (I did take the console out all the way back to to this. "easy".)
Do you wish you bought the MGW shift ****? Do you wish you chose one of the throws over the other..(25% vs 35 %) In my case, I was going for a stock look. It's been couple hundred miles since the install and I have no inclanation of going with a different ****. Again, not sure on the % question sorry.
I took a couple photos during the install, I'll try to post them tonight. Thanks for the compliment as well.
Cool...... I am going to call tommorow and order one. I am impressed with how many corvette enthusiasts are digging this mod. . (I just tried and they are closed this evening so tommorow morning it is.
Appreciate your sharing of impressions and insights as well as any photos you can post.
Sounds like a nice improvement.
