Default outside air temperature sensor question

I have an 09 C6 and am seeing inconsistant outside temperature readings and am thinking about changing the outside temperature sensor.
Anyone know where it is located and how to change it?

Two things to try first if you haven't:

Hit the far right, the next and then skip one, and hit the third button from the right on the climate control all at the same time. It resets the temp. readout.

If that doesn't work try disconnecting your battery for 10 min to reboot the car.

Sometimes I get in the car and the temp reading looks to be the last one from last night or something.

To reset the dash temp readout hit those 3 buttons at once. It's not easy! You have to skip #3 from the right. Button 1, 2 and 4, starting from the right.

The system is designed so that it does not display the actual temp for a while after the car is moving. If it immediately showed the real temp, it would always be over a hundred because the sensor is in front of the radiator. By simultaneously pushing the first, second and fourth buttons from the right, the real temp will be displayed immediately.

The outside temperature sensor is located in front of the radiator on the passenger side. Because it is located near the radiator, the car does not always read the current value. If the car is sitting in traffic, the temp sensor will read too high because of its proximity to the radiator and there is a bit of logic to prevent erroneous readings. To update the value on the readout, the car must be moving at least 40 MPH for about 3 minutes and then it will only update 1 degree every twenty seconds or so.

When you start the car, the outside temp will display the value that it was when you turned off the car unless it has been off for a very long time which I think is at least 12 hours.

Pressing the buttons as described above will cause the outside temp to display the current temperature. If the car has been sitting at idle, it will most certainly display a temperature that is much higher the actual outside temp.
