Popped mine off 2007 coupe for the first time earlier this week. Broke a small piece off the underside edge of one of the floormat grommets. Hope it doesn't make CarFax.
Ideal tool would be a long-handled putty knife to push & twist between the floormat grommet on top and the carpet grommet on the bottom.
