Steering Column Issues
About a month ago I started having issues with the steering column lock and about 2 weeks ago I took it into Leo Martin Chevrolet in Lake Jackson Tx to have the motor replaced. Well they replaced the part and I left work early to go and pick it up. I went inside and paid the $1k for the service and the service associate came back and said it wouldnt start and they would diagnose it and get back to me. After the next day with no call and waiting the weekend I finally get a call and they said the ignition push button was bad that it was staying green and not shutting off ( as I found this odd cause not once have I had issues with it). So shaking it off I told them to fix it at another $150. That issue was fixed which leads to my breaking point, the service employee calls me saying that the switch is in but I believe he said the ignition module in the column is only showing ~8V and that now needs to be replaced at tune of $500. Does anyone have some insight or having any experience with these issues your advice would be appreciated.

Sorry to hear about your troubles. Seems like the dealer is making the matter worse.
