Not sure in I have this listed in the correct place or not but here goes; I am looking at a 2007 Coupe, I have the VIN # and want to find out what was ordered on it from the factory. Is that possible to do? If so, how do I go about that?

Sounds like me. I just traded my '01 for an '07 3LT and wanted to find out that info. Found this site and it is spot on. I first tried my VIN from my '01 just to see and it was perfect. You can only do one VIN a day however unless you pay a fee. Here is the link http://www.compnine.com/vid.php
The VIN Decorder is not even close. I did my '01 as well as the '07 I ended up with and both came back as base models. My '01 was 2SC and the '07 is a 3 LT.

You could always pay $45 (non-member) for a build sheet from NCM....

It evidently does not list options. Didn't list my chrome wheels or my NAV or my A6 or my dual mode exhaust.
The GM IVH (Investigate Vehicle History) report (formerly VIS) should show a list of the options at the end of the report. Gene Culley at GMPartsHouse.com, some of the Forum dealers, and your local dealer can run it for you.

Go to the local dealer and ask the maintenance guys to run a report. It will take them two minutes and they should be happy to do it for free.

Since the factory doesn't publish option combination production numbers, the compnine "rarity" is only a statistical calculation and, therefore, meaningless. If all white cars produced have a white top and all black cars have a black top and half the cars are white, compnine would say only 25% of the cars have a white top and a white body. Combine that with the factory production week "option" and if your car doesn't show as unique on that site then it is VERY common. That doesn't mean there aren't a lot of unique cars out there. Just that it is almost impossible to prove and compnine is just guessing.
And, BTW, the corvetteforum vindecoder IS totally worthless as stated above. It will give you the specs for the base car of that year but that is all. If all you need to know is that the car is either a Corvette or a Camaro then MAYBE the vindecoder would have some value but beyond that it is a total waste of time.
The way to know for sure what a specific car has as well as maintenance records is to go to any GM dealer and request a VIS report. That is a record of the manufacture as well as all maintenance/warranty done by GM dealers.
