Default Sunvisor Extensions

Checked previous threads and could not find a recent post for C6's. Has anyone located a sunvisor extension that works good? Trying to find something similar to a slide out in other cars to block the sun behind the rear view mirror or the far back of the side window.

All I hear from the wife is, "My Malibu has them, don't you think your more expensive toy would have them too?"

I've seen something called Visormates on the Internet, but as narrow as the Vette visors are, I am not sure they would fit right.

I realy don't want to get a clip on kind with the tinted plastic, looking for something a bit more stable and less likely to fall off (or fly off if the roof is open).

I just tint the top of the windshield down to where the visors reach, no need for visors

I only use the visors when necessary to see because I am headed into the sun. Otherwise they are up so as to not obstruct my view. How does that work with permanently tinted windshield?

I have done it on all of my cars for the past 15 years, at 5'8" the visors never helped enough. No obstructed view as its only the top 12"

Doesn't that obstruct the view out of the top 12"? As I said, I keep my visors up so there is ZERO obstruction UNLESS the visor is absolutely needed.

Normally I don't wear one, but a ball cap works well when the sun gets in my eyes.

Its an old thread, but needs to be revisited since no solution was mentioned, only advice on how not to use the visor.
I was thinking about some form of slip-on type cover that when the need for some shade form the side window, just slide the cover out a bit.
I'm going to fabricate a prototype and post pictures here, for comments.

If for some reason you don't use or like the visors then you don't need to comment.
