I guess my next question, is would it be smart for me to attempt to powder my own calipers or pay the $600.00 to get them done??? I hope you guys forgive me for asking so many questions, but I learned so much from my first question, I figured what the heck I might as well keep learning lol.

Its easy...really. I did my own. I think its easier to make look good than spray painting...unless youre a ham-fisted moose. LOL. While its all apart, you can upgrade the pistons to stainless as well.
Powder coating system from local tool auction, $100
Quality Powder - $25 (enough to do probably 2-3 more sets as well)
small, cheap, used oven from Goodwill/Craigslist/Ebay/wherever- $10 (don't want to put powder in your home oven. I bought a practically brand new counter-top convection/toaster oven from Goodwill that fits 4 calipers perfectly.)
$10-high temp masking tape...its easier to tape the letters, imo, than try to rub off the powder and screw up the edges.
I like diy'ing whatever I can diy. And I like learning new skills when I can afford the tools
I now can also powder coat whatever I want, whenever I want, and whatever crazy colors I want
$300 is a pretty fair price though if you just want it done and don't have the desire, time, or space to diy.
Powder coating is a WASTE of money... it looks no better than painting them, which is something yoiu can do yourself for under 50 bucks.... I didn't even use caliper paint for mine. Black spray paint and high temp clear did the trick.... Its been on the car for well over a year now and still looks perfect... Heres a pic for you.
