This is a good poll I have had a boosted C5 that went over 190 MPH in the standing mile, sub 10s in 1/4 know about dyno tunes, speed density tunes and street tunes, this is purely for the booster.
So, by your experience, you're saying that the CoW booster will make a noticable difference in acceleration, or day to day driving? Looking for some factual based evidence, not just pants-evidence.
Hell, even waiting to drive my car for a few days makes my pants-meter read higher. How does this affect and IMPROVE your DRIVING experience?
----> SELL me on this product, don't just pull the religious argument out on this (blindly believing something with no factual evidence). Especially when it's $200.00.. lol <----
Apparently what CoW does is a bit more than throttle mapping? Something like changing the blades or something in the engine bay. Not sure exactly what it is because it's a super secret apparently.
The Cow Booster is great for my daily driving, spelled out in the ongoing thread and that is the beauty of the booster where 95% of my current driving is

Which can be easily fixed by simply applying more throttle, correct?

EXACTLY! All we are asking is for some HARD DATA showing that it MAKES A DIFFERENCE in the feel of the car. That's not too hard, right?
lol, here we go... Would you like another picture of this screen with said corvettes licence plate? Charging my gopro (just got it, cant wait to use it!) right now if you want that lol.
EQ Tuning's owner does not own a corvette, but has expressed interest and is looking to branch out into more markets. I would say that he has done an amazing job with my car, although I have not had a corvette before and have not experience any other corvette with another tune. He's helping me out, and I'm helping him out. If he wasn't around here, there are enough shops that specialize in Corvettes that I would take it to. I take it to him because he's a good person, and someone who is very down to earth when it comes to tuning.
Not that it matters, but this was my first Evo. Mistake #1, but I have learned a great deal from it. www.freewebs.com/kao021
It makes the car more fun! It's all done via a device he has and mapping of the blade after. From smooth to tear your pants off with the tap of a pendle. He can set several modes - I had a wife mode Requires him to be there or just send him your PCM. It's like getting exhaust for more noise where the booster is for more throttle and it's cheap for a mod. I don't think there is anyone else out there that can do the same thing. No gimmick. He may seem to many that don't know him cocky on this forum but he is that guy that will break his back to make you happy. Seriously. Just call him and chat. He'll give you the time...that's more important than the booster itself. My '08 C6 Base had it and I sold it with it on it...sold quick to the dealer for more than I paid for it 6 months earlier. It was gone at the dealer in two weeks (car title had to come back first). My '09 G8 GT had it and one test drive and the guy bought it immediately for asking. My '12 GS needs it and I can't wait to get it. Tuning at the same time. If you're considering it, just do it. If not, then spend your money on something shiny and way more expensive.
Same here. Those old farts are getting very long in the tooth. And man do they come out to protest the moment an opinion is posted. I always refer to this place as **** germany. Good thing Im German.
Seriously. I bet they think AWD is still garbage and 100% inferior to RWD in EVERY aspect!
if you dont understand it, do a search. The guy has all but given away his secret sauce trying to explain it. I have been drag racing and had fast cars since i was 15. I can tell you this is the best money you will spend on your ride. Hell if you buy it and dont like it i would consider refunding your money personally. of course the answer would be NO but i did consider it. show me a post from any forum where someone had the booster installed and hated it! It is also adjustable to your liking. My COW tuned/boosted car with headers and vararam went 11.83@120 with stock runflats. what kind of hard evidence are you looking for. I guess hundreds of happy customers is not good enough to Pry 200.00 from your weathered hand.

I suppose some sort of dyno chart would work? Or maybe a real world comparison? Like two identical cars (one with and one without) from a roll at a specific % of throttle?
Hard to produce, especially when it's two different drivers, but something that you can tout and say "HERE!" to all the people who question the product.

No, the numbers are from the Halltech Intake and tune. I doubt EQ will comment on this thread (much less see it), and I won't speak about the dyno. I just know that it has been calibrated to read more in line of real whp. The cam is next, and from what Texas Speed ballparked, I should gain 50-80 WHP.
