Default Nav/audio system question

Does the C/D need to be removed from the unit before the radio can be played? If not, how do I switch back and forth from radio to C/D without ejecting the C/D? I must be missing something. Read manual, did search. Thanks.

if you have the nav unit i believe you just press the soft key on the screen that says fm1 or hit it again for fm2. when your in cd mode or any mode for that matter just press the source hard key on the left and the soft keys will appear on the screen. i think this is correct but i could be wrong, try it out.

Thanks, got it now. Hit the "soft" down arrow button on the lower left of the C/D screen to bring back the radio screen, then push the desired soft am/fm/xm radio mode button. Vice versa to return to C/D play.
