Just testing the waters. What do you guys think I could get for my 08 4LT with transp. top, Z51 package, auto trans, Zo6 wheels w/ mich pilots and 11,000 miles on car. Has linen two tone interior, nav, all the goodies, heated seats etc. Car is all orig with only red GS stripes on drivers side an aftermarket air filter and ZR1 spoiler. I thought about getting into a 2013 BOSS. I know Ford and I am a chevy guy, but it looks pretty hot.

go drive it first , my cousin just traded in his gt500 for a 2012centennial edition for a 15k loss . I asked him why ,he said the gt was fast but it was not a corvette....the gt was a year old
20k miles, not a mark on it, red, NPP, every option thought of, brand new tires, clean car fax.....$29,500 before tax and license at a big Dodge delaer. They started at $38k a week earlier. Go to Edmonds and look it up. Forgot NADA or KBB. the banks, insurance companies, so forth use those but dealer is going to use auction price for trade in. remember almost every car goes to auction after trade in. At least here in AZ. Edmonds will look up sale figures in your area and give you a "Real" estimate of what a car will go for.
ill be honest, the interior in both cars that is the camaro and mustang is pretty cheap looking. I think I like the mustangs interior better. I hate the rear on the camaro.
$28-30k for a trade in, $34k would be about right privately. Mileage doesn't really matter that much to dealers unless it is ultra low. Maybe $1-2k more for 11k miles on an 08. Go to edmunds and select trade in - about 10%. Most dealers offer an auto trader quote for how much they'll offer you. But they don't care about how it was maintained, new tires or not, issues, garaged, dealer maintained, etc. Unfortunately that is what the Ford dealer will probably give you though especially since they are having no trouble selling the Boss.
Do you all think the $34k would be a trade in number?
IMO, the only way you can determine trade in value is to ask a dealer or someone with access to Manheim prices. They base trade on Manheim auction prices not Edmunds, NADA or the like.
The problem with trade in is it's never what it seams. They give $36 for your car but tack it on to what they won't take off of the car you are buying. You have to watch what is happening on both ends of the deal. And most importantly, DO NOT get the new car smell in your lungs or you will end up crazy and take what ever deal they give you. LOL
