Did you buy a new 2012? ..... or used?
I do believe that the suede (Alcantera) inserts only come with the 4LT package.
But you can certainly put them in any car. I have them in my 2010 2LT coupe. (I installed them myself)

I have the suede inserts on my 2012 3LT GS. I believe you must order the Heritage package and specify ebony/ebony as the two tone interior.

The heritage package comes with a two color seat unless you have an ebony interior. The ebony seats come with the suede insert. (They had to give you something for your $1500 if you didn't get a colored insert, I guess.

I got everything (new padding and leather) from Kevin @ PartsTaxi, a forum vendor.

Thanks! No, but I learned enough that I helped a local friend and forum member
Johnodrake do his seats as well.
