I just googled the Centennial edition....that thing is SWEEEEETTTTT. If you did it you probably wouldn't look back. It's not like there is one at every dealer.
How about------ probably stupid financially? But I am guessing you have already considered that!
Number one reason in my head not to do it.. But then, I got such a great deal I am about 4000 up in my current car (trade in value). But you my friend are absolutley right.

Centennial Edition Grand Sport?
Same car you have now, how much are a few decals worth?????
I've been mildly tempted to look at a 427 'Vert - but I've got too much into my 2011 GS with all the mods I've done on it. However, I would not be tempted by color and decals. not worth the loss of money if you're not getting more car for that money. If you said a 427 had caught your eye, I'd say jump. If you want upgraded interior, it's cheaper to buy new seat covers and leather items for the car you have.
Its the best decision I ever made regarding Corvettes... Mind you, I also was on the fence, for all of 1 minute... Once I drove her off the showroom floor, I just knew there was only one place for her to rest and that was my garage... Good Luck Buddy, i know you'll do whats right!!
I was interested in the centenniel edition when I first started researching Corvettes. It sounded really cool, but then I saw one. It's just too dark for me. I think it's the perfect car for Barnabas Collins, but not for me.
However, if you are going to go deeper in debt for it, then you may need to consider a few other personal financial issues that we know nothing about. Good luck with your decision.
Thanks for the replies gentlemen, but after sleeping on it, I realize financially the decision is not sound. As a Warrant Officer in the Army, I make OK money, not great money. This I'll just save for some new rims and a stripe package. So far the only mod I've done is tint.
