I have to oil my drivers side door hinge all the time.It is the little wheel making the noise. I have tried different oils but none last. My car is a DD and it gets rained on a lot.

I had the same thing. Used white lithium grease (any auto parts store in a tube). Fixed the problem in one application and it's lasted.
Apparently there is a TSB for greasing the hinges, the first thing the dealer tried but it did not work in my case. Typical C6 shiit, creaky roof and those clicking door hinges, apparently just gotta live with it.
I tried WD40 first it lasted 2 weeks. Then i tried the GM superlube lasted about as long. So far the oil that lasts the longest is mollybellum disulfide. It lasts at least 30 days.
IIRC, someone said we should oil the shaft for the little roller, but not the roller itself.
The idea is that you want to roller to, uh, roll; not slide.
I oil my actual door hinges and the roller shaft about once a year (15k-20k miles) and no noise. Time for a lottery ticket...

Similar to me. I'm due to do something now (again), there has to be something that works for longer than a month for us daily drivers that open/close our doors several times a day........
i use the grease that garage doors use for the rollers in situations like this. home depot or lowes has them in stock. theres a spray and a grease, try one or the other i bet it would work.
