Need some help here guys. I've looked at my finances and I think I'm going to be able to swing a C7 when they come out. Hopefully my faithful C5 will bring top dollar then.
So here's my question; here at the forum, we've got a lot of nationwide dealers advertising great prices. Which one is consistently the lowest? MacMulkin? Karbeck? Fichtner? Conti? Criswell? Maxie Price? Buds? Reliable? Boardwalk? or Cable-Dahmer? Or is there another dealer somewhere else that beats them all? Where did you get the best price for your C6?
I am dealing with Tommy at Macmulkin. I can't imagine anyone treating a customer better then Tommy.
Shoot him an email and start asking your questions. Tell him Mike from Tennessee sent ya. Good luck.

Dave Salvatore at Kerbeck. I bought my 2006 from him and my 2013 427. No issues and saved a bunch.
You're going to get many opinions. Shop them all and choose the one you feel the most comfortable with. That's what I did back in 2006 and out of all of the dealers (forum and non-forum), Dave got me the best price. As for my 2013 we're on par with everyone else. I went back to Kerbeck based on my treatment when I bought the 06.
Enjoy your new Vette from whatever dealer you choose to buy it from.

Buying my first vette from Dave at Kerbeck. I dont think you could go wrong with any of the dealers you listed. Just get atleast $8000 off MSRP you cant go wrong.

I got mine from Jon Hall Daytona Beach FL last fall, not sure what their prices are now, they were doing $10k off MSRP any Vette in stock. And they are under 500mi from you.
Wait a minute, Maxi Price is in Atlanta isn't it? If their prices are decent you would save a ton of time, trouble and money just not having to go get one from father away.
I would consider three primary factor if you plan to buy one from a dealers inventory. They are finding the exact car you want (color/options), price and convenience for you (location for picking up car and the ease of working with a reputable dealer).
If you are going to order a new car, then you select exactly what you want and would only look at the last two items. The dealer can be located anywhere and have the factory ship it to a dealer close to you for a convenience pick-up. Maybe a museum pick-up?
Compare prices from about three forum dealers. They will probably offer you about the same price, but you should check. That will also let you get a feel for the sales person you will be working with and how helpful they are to you. Don't buy from somebody if you don't feel comfortable with the person or something doesn't seem right. There are a lot of good dealers and a lot of good cars.

Well that's the trick. If their prices are decent. A little road trip to break in the new C7 doesn't phase me. By the time they come out and the initial flurry of no-discount new orders gets past, I'll be retired. But yeah, if Maxie Price can meet their deals, sure.

Thanks Tom. Since I'm looking at out-of-state dealers, obviously things like the service department and after sales service aren't big factors. And while there's always the chance of catching some real butt as a salesman, for the most part, I think I can work with anybody. At any rate, this is far from my first trip to a dealer so I feel confident in being able to negotiate with them. No, my big issue here is strictly price. Who will cut to the bone? But two other suggestions have come up on this thread that might really make a difference; storing the cars indoors and museum delivery. Bowling Green isn't that far away from Atlanta.
I'm sure that many dealers are first-class, and CF supporters are the first thing to look for. I actually visited a rather large local Chevrolet dealer who thought that museum delivery meant that I wanted to donate a new car to a museum.
I went with Tom at Bud's Chevrolet, and I've never regretted it. He's a great guy who is Corvette 100%, and Bud's is a great organization.
Its very easy..if you want the best price...no baloney, no paperwork charges, from the soon to be number one Corvette dealer ...you call Tommy Jr. @ MacMulkin in Nashua, NH> PERIOD
