Question???
My son took my 2011 GS with 7000 miles on it for a ride and the clutch went to the floor and wouldn't rise. He had it towed to the dealership. They told him it was the slave cylinder. I called today after 5 days and they are telling me they cant locate the part. Is this even possible that they cant find a cylinder???

Suppose it's possible, but it's my understanding that clutch slave cylinder failure is not all that uncommon on a C6. I've read that dirty clutch fluid may contribute to premature slave cylinder failure, so I use the forum 'ranger' method of frequent fluid changes on my C6 manual transmission 427 convertible(and Grand Sport before that). Seems like 5 days should be long enough for a dealer to locate a new one........... Good luck with the repair
