No, the ECM has to be refflashed by a programmer to be removed. Disconnecting the battery will reset the fuel trims, but the fuel trims will relearn after 50 or so miles. You will need to index the windows after a battery disconnect.

I did NOT add the BIG GRIN ?? Thanks Mike on the info.What are the fuel trims? I had to reset everything except the radio,the tire pressure resets after driving for about a block.

One more question:Can the tech at the dealer reflash my ECM back to stock ? My car has been to the dealer a few times & they know it has a cam,tune & etc.Due to the fact that i gave the service dept a bad report,I'm thinking the tech reflashed the ECM just for the f<<k of it ?
