Hello, I have the same issue with my Will Cooksey C6 2008. Was it successful removing the windshield to repair the leather? We have had an upholstery shop suggest the same approach. How long ago did you have this done?

I have on 08 with the same issue. I have taken it to one shop so far and was told they would have to remove the windshield to repair the leather.

Keeping this thread going into 2019, Here's mine. 2013 4LT dash Pad problem like many others. Because the car has been babied it's whole life it took alittle longer to rear it's ugly head. Had a small place I was monitoring above the glove box and went out today to crank it up for abit and saw a large portion on the driver's side starting to lift up. Pretty sickening for a car we've meticulously maintained and cared for. Kept in a heated and cooled garage with no sun coming in to damage. Car never been in the rain. Mainly just taken to corvette shows.
2013 60th Anniversary Package Convertible. Going to the dealer Wednesday. Contacted GM rep already...

It makes you sick to see this doesn't it? I was fortunate that when I went to my local dealer (a Hendrick Chevy dealership in Naples FL) that the service manager went to bat for me on this problem. I belong to a Vette club here and they sponsor our club, so I think they wanted to try to make this right. They ordered a new dash and just charged me for the parts (plus tax) and didn't charge me for the labor. It was pretty much a full day job, so the labor was significant. They did an excellent job and I'm very pleased with the result. Now I'm just keeping my fingers crossed that this doesn't happen to this dash because I love the car and I don't want to have to get rid of it. Good luck with yours.

Default Another 4LT Dash Pad delaminates

I had never seen this thread before today but I looked through the windshield on my ‘13 Anniversary Edition coupe I saw that my dash pad has started bubbling just like the others in this thread. My car is garage kept with only 22k and has tinted side and rear windows. I use a windshield sun screen when parked outside, but since this is not my primary car it spends most of the time in the garage.
Of course my GMPP expired on 6/29/19.
Im just sick! I’ll take it to the dealership tomorrow to see what options if any I have.

^ If it's any consolation, GMPP wouldn't have covered it anyway.

I figured they wouldn't. They didn't cover the stress crack in the transparent roof.... why would they cover this?
Has anyone seen a decent dash pad carpet type cover for the C6 w/HUD?

I was informed that the white w/black dash was no longer available. Had to purchase a newer non-4LT dash on my own. Actual installation was about an hour and a half - everything was very easy to remove/replace.

I am curious, even those that have garage their car, was the garage in a control room temperature? Depending on your location, maybe the heat and temperature could have loosen the glue?

Mine was garaged, but not in a controlled environment. I still think this is a manufacturing defect that GM should resolve even beyond the warranty. I live in Florida and when you have Chevy dealers with 50 corvettes sitting in the sun with their windows closed the temp in these cars can get up to 150 degrees or higher EVERY DAY and these dashes don't bubble up. GM outsources building these dashes and either the materials they used or the way they put them together is defective and they should stand behind their work/product.
